POLA PENGEMBANGAN POTENSI ANAK JALANAN DI KOTA GORONTALO

Abstract

The potential development of street children in Gorontalo City needs special attention because street children have the same rights as other children. Therefore, efforts to develop a continuous preventive-developmental pattern need to be implemented. This article aims to identify patterns of potential development of street children. Qualitative descriptive method, through analysis of information sources of book data, journal articles, handbooks, websites, and other works relevant to the article writing topic. The results of the study of information sources found that the identification of developing the potential of street children in Gorontalo City can be carried out through a series of structured programs, namely (1) sharing programs, (2) school programs, (3) character education programs, (4) interest and talent development programs, and (5) religious life development program. Further research is expected to be carried out empirically.
