Curriculum development becomes a turmoil in the learning process in academic units. One of the current curriculum developments in Indonesia is the implementation of an independent curriculum related to the profile of Pancasila students and using local wisdom in the learning process. This study aimed to determine the effect of traditional games in improving the physical education learning process in elementary schools to help strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. This research is a classroom action research that uses the Kurt model using a project-based learning approach. This research involved 20 respondents at SD N 60 Kota Timur, Kota Gorontalo. The data analysis used was in the form of qualitative and quantitative analysis, which was directed at finding and discovering the efforts made by teachers in strengthening the profile of Pancasila students in the learning process of physical education by adapting traditional games.
